Idaho Fish & Game announced today that its license vendor, Active Network, will mail notices to all Idaho license and tag holders whose personal information might have been compromised by a computer hack to the vendor’s system. People who made their first license purchase before 2008 are among those who could be affected. The data breach prompted Idaho to halt online license and tag sales last week, but licenses and tags still are available in person at 400 locations statewide, which is where 80 percent of Idaho licenses and tags are sold.
