This week’s night’s “Idaho Reports” on Idaho Public Television includes co-host Melissa Davlin’s interview with Rep. Maxine Bell and Sen. Shawn Keough, the two co-chairs of the Legislature’s powerful joint budget committee; an in-depth interview with Idaho Attorney General Lawrence Wasden; a report on serious problems with non-emergency Medicaid transportation services in Idaho; and a rundown of the events of the week.

On the pundits panel, Kevin Richert joins me, Jim Weatherby and Davlin to discuss the latest developments, including this week’s higher education and K-12 budget hearings, new President Trump’s education secretary nominee and more. “Idaho Reports” airs at 8 p.m. Fridays on Idaho Public Television; after it airs, you can watch it here online any time. It also re-airs Sunday at 10:30 a.m. Mountain time, 9:30 Pacific.
