Bill McCrory: Questions About Standoff Suspect

Issue: CdA standoff ends in fire, death: Armed man was person of interest in CdA stabbing/Taryn Brodwater, Spokesman-Review

Bill McCrory: I'm more interested in learning how he came to be in Coeur d'Alene. Why was he here? When did he arrive? Who owned the duplex he was living in? Did he live alone? If so, how did he pay the rent and to whom? Who were the man and woman escorted out by the police? Were they living with him in the same unit or were they in the other half of the duplex? What was their connection with him? Were they aware he was wanted by California for parole violation? Where did he get the AK? Whom did he associate with while he was here? Was he employed here? If so, by whom? Were California authorities aware of his connection, if there was one, to Coeur d'Alene before this incident? If so, had they passed information along to CdAPD, KCSD, ISP and IDOC?

DFO: Mebbe we sleep better at night not knowing who's living around us and how they got here.
