Heimlich: What Do HBOers Think re: Sonics’ Sale

The Heimlich Maneuver: What are people saying up your wat about a couple of my fellow Oklahomans purchasing the Seatlle Super Sonics? Just curious. Seems like folks there talked about the Mariners and the Seahawks but I don’t remember there being much talk about the Sonics. The lead guy for the investment group is a great guy and a straight shooter. He may very well keep the team in Seattle - if they can get the arena issue settled.

DFO: I care only for the ex-Zags who are in the NBA. I once was an NBA fan. But I lost interest because it seems so predictable. You can almost pick the 3 or 4 teams that are going to play for the championships. Most regular season games are pretty boring. I watched the Sonics only once last year when ex-Zag Richie Frahm was pouring in 3s for the Houston Rockets. I don’t like to see the region lose a professional team. But I’ve never paid attention to the Sonics.

Question: Anyone out there care about the sale — and possible move — of the Sonics to Oklahoma interests?
