Frum Helen Back: Dealing w/Hunting Widowism
I'm half way through my husband's hunting getaway. I don't know if I enjoyed it this much last year. So far I haven't broken any appliances, something that's easy for me to do. The sound was off on my favorite TV on the morning of day three, but my grandson told me that he had turned off the cable box by mistake the night before. It took awhile but I tried rebooting the box and back came the sound. Reboot is the word I use for unplugging something. Computers have changed my life so much. That's another story. I have five small dogs that sleep with me. Since normally I have to share the king size bed with my husband, the dogs all sleep on my side. For the last four nights the critters are scatterd all over the bed, some under the covers, and I'm in the middle. Since we've had so much rain, the sheets are covered with little muddy paw prints. We don't care. We're sleeping so good with all that room. It makes me wonder if the great white hunter will mind sleeping on the couch when he gets home -- Frum Helen Back/Hauser Thoughts
