No Surprises In Hayden Election So Far
Just talked with Hayden City Clerk Vicki Rutherford re: council races there. So far, no surprises -- other than the fact that Councilman Chris Beck (who occasionally posts comments at Huckleberries Online) won't seek re-electio to Seat No. 3. Chris, a geotech engineer who was first elected to the council in 1999, is moving outside Hayden's city limits. Currently, Mayor Ron McIntire and Councilwoman Nancy Taylor are the only people to file for the fall election. Filing closes at 5 p.m. Friday.
