Ada County Prosecutor Greg Bower talks to the media today in Boise after the conviction of Wesley Tuttle, 55, for the death of 14-year-old Lisa Chambers in 1982. Tuttle (who remained shackled throughout the proceeding, below) pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in the 1982 rape and strangulation of 14-year-old Lisa Chambers, whose body was found frozen solid in a cornfield. As part of a plea agreement reached in the case, Tuttle was sentenced to life. Tuttle is also serving a life sentence in Utah on an unrelated 1983 murder conviction. Authorities say Tuttle will most likely be transferred to an Idaho prison to serve the sentence. Story here.
