PF Man Killed In i-90 Crash

Andrew Gumprecht, 32, of Post Falls was killed Tuesday night in a head-on collision with a semi truck on Interstate 90 @ M/P 14 (15th Street exit/Coeur d'Alene). The crash occurred at 11:14 p.m. Tony Love, 42, of Swan Lake, Mont., was the driver of the truck. Love wasn't injured. You can see the initial ISP report in the box below.

INCIDENT NARRATIVE:    Gumprecht was driving westbound in the eastbound lane of Interstate 90 near milepost 14 in Coeur d'alene. This caused a head on collision with a semi tractor trailer combination.  Alcohol may have been a factor.  Investigation is continuing.

The interstate is still closed at this time.  A press release will be issued from the Idaho State Communication Center when the interstate is reopened.
