Somewhere, somehow, somebody finally realized that Katarzyna Dziewanowska is worth keeping around. The longtime University of Idaho researcher was facing deportation to Poland after being denied residency earlier this year. We may never know exactly what led immigration officials to alter their stance on Dziewanowska's case, and the reasons behind their decision really don't matter at this point.
