JeanieS: Caught Between Floors

JeanieS: One year we had a terrific thunder and lightning storm right at 5:00. I got on the elevator on the 14th floor where there were already two people. It seemed like we stopped at every floor and picked up another person, when all of a sudden lightning struck the building and we “crashed” between the 4th and 3rd floors (parking garage level). We could hear people going down on the other three elevators, getting out and wishing each other a nice weekend. Yes, Friday at 5:00. We used the phone in the elevator and discovered it hooks up to some place in Seattle. We had to give them directions. Finally got out on the 3rd floor at 6:00. We all walked down the stairs. It's creepy to be stuck in an elevator that long.

Question: Have you ever been stuck on an elevator? Or in some other similar scary situation?
