K-Mama: A Satisfied HBO Customer

Kendramama: Hey Hucksters, just wanted to let you know that after meeting an awesome blurker via the front-page DFO was kind enuff to put out yesterday re: my financial aid stress, I am now past that hurdle, having filled out the necessary evil paperwork with wise eyes looking on. Not only that, but through Sara and her super-nice colleagues at the Alumni Office at NIC (who normally do not deal with greenie frosh like me!) I’ve learned that I may not have to relocate to Boise to attend BSU after all… I can get double bachelors and even MASTERS up here thru LCSC and satellite branches of U of I, BSU and even a couple others! All brand new news to me. Comment continues below.

Question: Have you been helped personally as a result of being part of the menagerie in this online circus?

So once again I’ve learned there ARE no stupid questions, and with the kindness of the online community, I’ve gotten one or two steps further down the road toward my goal.
Thanks guys! (and gals!) Here’s one happy student, heading once more through the slush and muck to go get a parking permit and sign yet ONE MORE piece of paperwork down at the college. Grinning ear to ear, though.

<<–- Well, nic advised me to dress Milo up as Santa. I’m pleased with the result, but I don’t think Milo is as happy.

K-Mama- just another thought- other colleges such as Whitworth is doing a adult degree program in the evening and it is really good- and you can get your masters etc as well there- they have a new campus which is downtown Spokane next to GU and it is really affordable for everyone…if you want more information just let DFO know and he can tell you how to contact me….I am going and I really like what I am taking and how things work….GOOD LUCK!

Just yesterday, when I was so melancholy regarding the condition of my dog. HBOers stepped up with encouraging and uplifting thoughts.

This one time, Larry Spencer rescued me from the clutches of an evil pit monster.

I haven’t been helped personally, but I enjoy keeping up on what’s happening up North. I grew up in Lewiston and have family in Rathdrum and Grangeville.
