  • 5:56 p.m. Officer reports light at I-90 offramp onto H41 has been stuck on red for 15 minutes.
  • 5:49 p.m. 2 CPD Blues are en route to serve a warrant on Anton/CdA man "due to his size."
  • 5:32 p.m. Resident considers it odd that man without pole is looking for Cougar Gulch fishing spot.
  • 5:29 p.m. Flames can be seen coming from chimney @ 7270 W. Pine St./Rathdrum.
  • 5:20 p.m. English Funeral Home is tied up & can't get to unattended death for 30 to 45 minutes.
  • 5:18 p.m. "Suspicious package" turns out to be children's backpack w/school books & papers.
  • 5:11 p.m. Officers shut down exit to south parking lot at Kootenai County Jail (see: 4:49 item).
  • 4:49 p.m. A suspicious package (possibly a backpack) has been left in Kootenai County Jail lobby.
  • 4:32 p.m. Someone has been hurt in a fall at WalMart East/Post Falls.
  • 4:14 p.m. S. @ Probation & Parole wants Gerald transported for unscheduled jail time.

  • 1:58 p.m. Prairie View Elementary DARE cop wants to speak to a PFPD Blue re: possible child abuse.
  • 1:39 p.m. Mother, w/kids @ El Rancho mobile home park @ 3957 E. Mullan/PF, reports that a man is banging on her windows and doors.
  • 1 p.m. Caller reports possible transients staying under I-90 Veterans Memorial Bridge, east of CdA.
  • 12:25 p.m. Caller reports smoke and fire coming from roof of vacant business across from McDonalds, 3820 W. 5th/PF. But officer reports that business, which is occupied, has fireplace working.
  • 12:23 p.m. Red pickup has hit a deer on w/b I-90 near Veterans Memorial Bridge. Deer still on road.
  • 12:13 p.m. EMTs are responding to an unknown trauma at Spirit Lake Elementary.
