Stealing $$$ From A Dying Man

A man and a woman suspected with allegedly stealing a donation jar meant to raise money for a cancer-stricken officer have been identified by police. Officers have ticketed 30-year-old Michelle K. Riddle on the charge of misdemeanor petit theft after she and another person were spotted on surveillance cameras allegedly stealing a collection jar from Rosauer’s grocery store put out to raise money for Latah County detention officer Mike Lamers and his family. Lamers died May 5 after a long battle with cancer. Riddle and 44-year-old Chad L. Gireth are alleged to have stolen the jar from the Thain Road grocery store earlier the same day, according to police/Brad Gary (pictured), Lewiston Tribune. More here.

Question: Can you think of something lower than these two petty thieves pulled on officer Lamers' family?
