Judgment Day: McEuen Field

Seems Friends of McEuen Field are prepared to make a last stand tonight when the Coeur d'Alene City Council meets to possibly decide the fate of McEuen Field. On the OpenCDA.com site, Friends of McEuen Field are urging supporters to bring 10 friends and wear white to the meeting which begins at 6 o'clock at Woodland Middle School. Mary Souza exhorts in bold-face letters: "We must pack the room ... the meeting will NOT be televised." Friends of McEuen Field Julie Clark & Rita Sims-Snyder write that there will be signs at the door demanding a public vote, "Save the Boat Launch," "Save the Ball Fields," "Save the small town charm" ... "Save the $$$$." They encourage all speakers to tell the council to not approve the plan as is -- and put it to an advisory public vote. Sounds like plenty of fireworks are in store tonight. More OpenCDA.com here.

Question: Do you plan to attend tonight's meeting?
