Fischer: SPLC Should Be On Hate List

Mark Potok of the Southern Poverty Law Center (SLPC) will be in town today to release a new “investigative” report on yours truly. I can hardly wait. But while I am waiting, it’s worth reminding the public of some salient facts about which I have written before. The American Family Association and the Family Research Council last year were added to the Southern Poverty Law Center’s list of “hate” groups. According to its own website, the criterion for adding groups to the list is “their propagation of known falsehoods” about homosexuality. I hate to be the one to break this to Mr. Potok, but if this is the criterion, he needs to add the name of the Southern Poverty Law Center to his own list. Why? Because they peddle 10 myths about homosexuality right on their own website/Bryan Fischer, Rightly Concerned. More here.

Question: What do you make of Bryan Fischer's claim that the Southern Poverty Law Center should be on the list of hate groups?
