I forgot to mention that I broke my swimming fast Sunday after my church's annual baptism at Ross Point Bible Camp. It was just too hot to hobnob under the trees. So I jumped into the Spokane River and frolicked with the kids for several hours. I'd forgotten how refreshing our lakes and rivers are during August heat. I even tried the slide and diving board.
