Recallers Paying For Signatures

RecallCDA organizer Frank Orzell acknowledged Monday that the recall effort has started paying people to carry petitions door to door. He said they've contracted a few people in the last couple of days due in part to the timeline dispute that may have moved the gathering deadline to less than 75 days. An ad posted online on Craigslist offers $9 an hour "going door to door requesting signatures from city of Coeur d'Alene residents on Recall Petition" Monday through Friday/Coeur d'Alene Press.

Question: I view this as a sign that signature gathering isn't going well in the Souza-Orzell-Sims camp. How about you?
