A beautiful weekend in store. I've decamped to Diamond Lake with my husband and the youngest 2 of my 4 sons. We'll return on Sunday evening to take my Mom out to dinner.

I'm counting my blessings. I can't ever remember NOT wanting to be a mom, until my oldest sons turned into teenagers, but by then it was too late.

Still. I'm thankful for each one of them and for my own sweet mom who at 80 is still nurturing, loving and praying for me.
