A Great Dane's head is held erect by its handler in the show ring earlier today at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds in Coeur d'Alene. It was the second and final day of the Coeur d'Alene Dog Fanciers show, which brought dogs and their owners from around the Northwest and Canada to vie for ribbons and the American Kennel Club points that advance a dog toward championship status.
