Morse Raises $31K For Hart Seat

Republican Ed Morse has raised almost $31,000 in his quest to replace beleaguered state Rep. Phil Hart, R-Athol, as the House District 2B representative. In the latest finance reporting period, Morse's disclosure statement shows he raised anothe $4025 to bring his overall total to $30,695. Morse emerged victorious from a bruising GOPrimary in which he defeated Hart. He now faces Democrat Dan English in the general election Tuesday. Morse has spent heavily with the political PR Strategery Goup. He has spent a total of $18,139 to date with Strategery. Major contributors in his last statement include Dennis Swartout of Spokane, who contributed another $500 to raise his overall total to $1500. Idaho PAC, Idaho Loggers PAC & Clearwater Paper each contributed $500 more to raise their yearly total to $1000. You can read Morse's latest report here.
