AM Local Election Roundup
Let's use this post to report on how the vote is going at your precinct or anything else related to the elections in Kootenai County/North Idaho today:
- 11:59 a.m. Mention: 11:30ish -- Seventh Day Adventist at Gov’t Way/Locust (51/53) was packed. People waiting for a spot to sit down to vote at. I think I was in the 70’s for precinct 53.
- 11:53 a.m. Herb Huseland calls to say that he hasn't seen a turnout this big in his precinct since he moved to Bayview 17 years ago. He said voters were lined up "wall to wall."
- 11:22 a.m. PrivateIdaho: Went to the Hauser fire house at 7:15, first time I have seen more than two or three people in line - there were at least 20 people waiting.
- 11:13 a.m. OrangeTV: Buzzing buzzing buzzing at Trinity Lutheran (Precincts 54/55) -- fully packed, with a palpable excitement in the air. I had to wait five minutes after checking in to vote since there were no voting booths free when I walked in.
- 11:08 a.m. Alison McArthur reports 202 people have voted so far at her Post Falls Senior Center.

- 9:49 a.m. Greg Lee: I was just at Woodland and the voters are turning out in drives there. The gals said it's been busy since they opened. They anticipate steady flow all day.

- 8:29 a.m. DFO: At 7:35 a.m., I was the 19th person to vote in the precinct at the Coeur d'Alene Assembly of God Church on 7th Street. Six or seven people were at the polls voting when I did. Steady.
- 8:26 a.m. BillB: We are heading down to the fairgrounds in about an hour to cast our ballots. Wish I could cast one for my brother in law serving overseas who doesn’t get to vote again this cycle.
