Coeur d'Alene City Councilman Dan Gookin made me smile Saturday morning while I was watching the Florida-LSU game. He, Luke Sommers and a guy wearing a St. Louis Cardinals ball cap hand stopped by my house to hand-deliver Reagan Republican campaign literature on behalf of North Idaho College trustee candidate Paul Matthews.
