Bloomsday organizers say they will be addressing security concerns because of the bombings at the Boston Marathon. Organizers said they will be working the Spokane Police Department, the Spokane County Sheriff and federal agencies  to plan for the event. Officials said they will make changes that are advised to ensure a safe experience for participants and spectators. Bloomsday will be held in a couple weeks/KREM2.
