Weekend Wild Card — 12.7-8.13

Today is Pearl Harbor Day, for my father's generation. When I was growing up, Dec. 7 was a day when Americans stopped to remember the attack that took so many lives and led to our entrance into World War II. The day that JFK was assassinated played a similar role for my generation. Now the current generation has Sept. 11. I suppose there are other such days out there in the future for other generations to remember with heart ache. May this country remain strong enough to absorb them and continue on. Now for your Weekend Wild Card ...
