OTV: Why Shouldn’t I Have Recourse?

OrangeTV comments: "I don't get it. I am a gay man who is completely uninterested in and uninvolved with any form of this Christianity hoo-hah. I have my own beliefs. Anyway, isn't this entire discussion meaningless since religion and civil government cannot legally mix, in theory at least? Let the judgmental people waste their time yammering on about what and evil pervert I am and how I'm going to the devil. Ya, right. I could give a rats arse about their shallow minds and what they think of me and my life. I am perfectly happy doing my own thing on my own way and I'm not hurting a fly. I just don't want to lose a home or a job based solely on the fact that I identify as an LGBT human. Christians have that to fall back on legally, why shouldn't I as well."

Thoughts?
