Hamilton Pops Off RE: City Election

On the Coeur d'Alene Press Online Web site, Coeur d'Alene School Board Trustee Tom Hamilton takes Editor Mike Patrick and the Coeur d'Alene Press to task for alleged bias in its reporting of the Mary Souza campaign:

I would agree with Dan that it would be better to openly and publicly ask Mr. Patrick to address how his paper handled this election, especially the actions of Jeff Selle who seems to have been recently hired with the sole purpose of witch-hunting the Sousa campaign. However, the Friday after the election would only provide a forensic analysis. The damage is done and the credibility of the CDA Press most certainly tarnished no matter what Mr. Patrick would have to say after the fact. I would prefer to hear him defend it now...

DFO: It's past time that form CSB Trustee Hamilton realize that he serves the school district first and not partisan Reagan Republican politics. His highly partisan statements on Facebook and now on the Press Web site indicate he hasn't grown into the job.

Question: Do you think it helps the Coeur d'Alene School District's cause to have a trustee blatantly condemning the town's newspaper for bias (which I believe to be imagined) in covering the election of another local government?
