Huckleberries Online

New Reagan Repub Leader Miffed

Looks like Jeff Tyler has taken over for Jeff Ward as bloviator in chief for the Reagan Republicans. Today, he's grousing about a question I posed at the request of the moderator. I submitted 2 questions, including one asking candidates what they thought of political groups like the Reagan Republicans injecting partisan politics into nonpartisan city races. The organizers asked both the Coeur d'Alene Press and Huckleberries Online to submit question. Here's Tyler's response in part (from current Reagan Republican newsletter:

"Recently the word "partisan" has been cause for much consternation. Yes it was even injected into this election by the City of Post Falls when they asked a Debate question about the Kootenai County Reagan Republicans involved in Non- Partisan elections. Why did they allow a Liberal Blog to ask the questions in a community where only a third voted for Obama? The Reagan Republicans was formed by average citizens that decided to quit complaining and try to make a difference by getting involved. We do not "have" candidates, we just support those who we agree share the most values with our namesake." More here. (File photo: Duane Rasmussen)

Here's two more questions for Mr. Tyler: Why do you endorse candidates without interviewing other ones who are conservative Republicans. Why do you and your two Post Falls buddies, Jeff Ward and Ron Lahr, stick your noses into Coeur d'Alene politics, if you're so sensitive re: Coeur d'Alene people posing questions for your forum?
