CdA Schools Get OK To Release Kids

From Coeur d'Alene School District re: East Sherman Avenue stabbing:

"The CdA Police Department is advising us to now release students from Lakes Middle School.  (Buses will be delayed approx. 20 minutes).  The police department has a 2 block perimeter blocked off near E. Sherman (Jimmy's Down the Street Restaurant).  Our School Resource Officers are in the area.  Our two elementary schools - Sorensen & Fernan will begin normal release of students at 3:30 p.m. - our teachers and staff will remain outside the school and be extra support to our students.  Fernan's cross country meet is scheduled as planned with a School Resource Officer providing additional care."
