CPD Seeks Suspect In Stabbing

Officers responded to a report of a stabbing in the 1600 block of E. Sherman Avenue.  The young adult male victim has been transported to Kootenai Medical Center due to the extent of his injuries. Schools in the area were contacted and put into lock down for precautionary measures due to the suspect leaving on a bicycle. There is a cross country meet going on as scheduled. The suspect is decribed as an white or possibly Hispanic male, around 5'7, 145 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes wearing a dark colored beanie cap, shorts, and a backpack travelling on a  small mountain bike. The investigation is ongoing.  Officers and detectives will be at the scene and surrounding locations for some time longer.
