Demo Ringo Wins Pinehurst Ribbon

Shirley Ringo, the Democratic candidate for the 1st Congressional District seat held by Raul Labrador, visits w/ Princesses Sydney, Kadence, and Kelly (little girls w/their grandma who rode in front of her and threw out candy at the recent Pinehurst Parade).

State Rep. Shirley Ringo (D-Moscow), the Democratic nominee for the 1st Congressional District, received an award for her entry in the Pinehurst, Idaho parade on Saturday. "Getting the call that we won a ribbon for the pedal cart was a pleasant surprise," Ringo said. "I try to make sure that my entire campaign is people-powered, and it's always nice to be recognized for it." Ringo and her husband pedaled in a Roadster pedal cart that she borrowed from Latah County native Earl Aldrich. Ringo has participated in a number of parades throughout the state this summer, while campaigning for the 1st Congressional District seat currently held by Rep. Raúl Labrador (R-Eagle). She plans to collect her award ribbon during her next visit to Pinehurst/Campaign to Elect Shirley Ringo news release. (Photo: Shirley Ringo Web site)

Question: Do you like to see politicians in community parades?
