BikeCDA Features Monthly Bike Talks

(From John Kelly's BikeCDA Facebook page)

On her Rubber Tire Adventures, Jamie Lynn Morgan tells of monthly get-togethers for bicycling enthusiasts that take place at Calypso's in downtown Coeur d'Alene: "Bike Talks, as the meeting is called, is a monthly meeting that takes place on the first Saturday of every month and brings together anyone and everyone who is a bicycle enthusiast, commuter, racer, or just interested citizen. It is where you can find out where help is needed in convincing government officials to expand on or create more bicycle infrastructure, what bicycle related events are happening, and how you can make Coeur d’Alene and the surrounding communities more bicycle friendly. At this meeting it was announced that BikeCdA has officially become an official organization and has applied for 501C3 non-profit organization." More here.

Question: Izzit just me -- or do you see a growing excitement about bicycling in Coeur d'Alene?
