JT: Why Little Info On NITRO, KTEC?

JT: I am surprised how quickly the KTEC/NITRO discussion disappeared. In the Press' follow-up article which attempts to redefine the "faith-based" characterization there is also a statement of $150/hr leasing of the facilities for NITRO use. Of course those monies also come from Workforce Training Grants which are also taxpayers funds, are they not? Googling the organization comes up empty except for the CdA Press articles. Anyone else have more info? Does KTEC certify/graduate its first class this year?

Question: I've been wondering re: the accountability of KTEC. Is anyone following what's happening out there? Is it a success? Is it placing students in good-paying jobs? What?
