Spokane Faces Red Light Ticket Suit

A class action lawsuit was filed against the City of Spokane for red light ticket fees paid after a judge ruled them invalid. The lawsuit filed with Spokane County Superior Court said red light tickets were issued by the city between November 1, 2008 and June 20, 2011 after a judge had found them to be void. The lawsuit also claims the city refuses to repay people who wrongfully paid the tickets and they are not dismissing collection efforts against those who have not paid the tickets. On June 17, 2011 Judge Jerome Leveque ruled that red light tickets were invalid because the tickets were not physically signed in the state of Washington/KREM. More here.

Question: Have you gotten a ticket for running a red light in Spokane?
