CdA Vision 2030 Plans Celebration

A city-led effort to establish a vision for Coeur d’Alene’s future will pause Wednesday for a community celebration. The team overseeing the Coeur d’Alene 2030 Visioning Project has arranged for music and refreshments to mark its first year of progress. The event will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the downtown corner of Sixth Street and Sherman Ave. CDA 2030 covers growth and development, education, recreation and environment, jobs, health and safety, and community identity. Residents have weighed in on those topics over the past year to help the city craft a vision for where Coeur d’Alene should be in 2030. The Donnie Emerson Band will perform at the celebration, and popcorn and cupcakes will be handed out. Food and beverage vendors also will be on hand/Coeur d'Alene Today.
