Yelp: Thumbs Up To Extreme Cheese

On Facebook, OrangeTV points out that Meltz Extreme Grilled Cheese, 1735 W. Kathleen Ave/CdA, is getting rave Yelp reviews. Example:

  • Our group left with super full bellies! Order the half sizes and you'll be more than full. You can also order the half with soup or their homemade spicy chips. Their basics have tons of cheese so I'd suggest their melts that are more creative like the BBQ pulled pork version or the wingz twist! Want to come back again and again to try them all plus make a few versions of my own!! -- Los Angeles woman.
  • Stopped here on my way through because of the Yelp ratings and I wasn't disappointed. The Burger Bomber was a delicious mixture of grilled cheese and classic hamburger, complete with fries cooked into the sandwich. Be aware that the full sandwich is large, half is plenty for a good lunch unless you're really hungry. The service was great and the staff friendly. My only complaint would be the cramped dining area and kinda sketchy bathroom, but totally worth it for the food -- Tacoma man. More here.

Question: Do you read Yelp ratings before deciding to go to a new restaurant?
