Coeur d'Alene Mayor Steve Widmyer started his professional career at the Best Western Plus Coeur d'Alene Inn when it was still a Holiday Inn in 1975. On Monday, Widmyer returned to the hotel to cut a ceremonial red ribbon commemorating the completion of an extensive remodel. ... "Hagadone Hospitality always keeps their facilities top-notch and they've just done a wonderful job here," Widmyer said after the ceremony. "I'm glad to be a part of it and glad to be a part of Hagadone Hospitality's investment in the community."
