4 Corners Meeting Set Tuesday

The Four Corners/BLM Corridor Master Plan Steering Committee will meet at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday to for an update on master planning efforts for the Spokane River corridor. The meeting will be held in the old council chambers at City Hall, 710 Mullan Ave. The public is invited, but public comment will not be accepted. There will an opportunity for public comment during a forum planned for November. A date for that meeting will be announced soon. The consultant, Welch Comer Engineers, continues to gather input from groups such as the Museum, Human Rights Educational Institute, County, Disability Action Center, adjacent Home Owners Associations, and others to formulate a land use plan for a stretch of property that runs roughly from Independence Point in downtown Coeur d’Alene to Huetter Road at the western limit of Coeur d’Alene/Coeur d'Alene Today.

Question: I hope you readers are paying attention to these meetings because they will have a significant impact on the western corridor to Coeur d'Alene. I don't want to hear anyone complaining after the master plan is released that s/he didn't have a chance to provide input. Thoughts?
