CdA: Most Dangerous Idaho Town?

A nationwide study ranked Spokane and Coeur d'Alene high on a list of dangerous cities across the country. The found that Coeur d'Alene was the most dangerous place in Idaho. The study used FBI numbers to calculate violent crimes like murder, rape, robbery, and assault in a city based on how many people live there. According to the study, Coeur d’Alene topped the list in Idaho and Spokane came in fourth for Washington State. When contacted about the numbers, Spokane Police said studies based on population can be misleading. Police stated that Spokane and Coeur d'Alene are high on the list because of certain socio-economic backgrounds, as well as the large geographic sizes of each area/Shawn Chitnis, KREM2. More here.

Question: I feel safe in Coeur d'Alene. But not as safe as I felt 10 years ago. How about you?
