2 more racist robocalls hit Sandpoint

Better Idaho reports: "Last month a racist, homophobic robocall against a Sandpoint mayoral candidate revealed the ugliest side of Idaho politics. Now there are two more calls, both coming days before the Nov. 3 election. The second call in the obscene trilogy uses racism and xenophobia to argue that mayoral candidate Shelby Rognstad will turn the northern Idaho town into California. The third call says a white police officer will be killed if Shelby is elected. A group calling itself “Citizens United Against Shelby” claimed responsibility for a similar robocall in early October. However, the group’s sunshine report proved to be fraudulent. More including audio of robo-calls here.
