Happy Tuesday, HBO. I wrote yesterday about my view of Rathdrum Mountain from the backyard. (It's only a partial view, but I'll take it.) I still think it's funny to wake up in this town, even after living here for four years. When I graduated from Lakeland High, I wanted nothing more than to live anywhere but here. If I've learned one thing over the years, it's to never say never. Ever. I've grown to appreciate this place. Fun fact about Rathdrum: It is the true county seat. We ruled the county from 1881 until the bullies in the Lake City decided to vote themselves county seat in 1908. I think it would be pretty funny if Post Falls someday stole the county seat from Coeur d'Alene. Or Athol! Wouldn't that be humbling. Who knows. Never say never, right? Whatever you do, don't sing, "Never say never," because then you are singing a Justin Bieber song. Here's your Tuesday Wild Card, HBO. Let's do this!
