Unnerved by sinister ice cream truck

Tongue firmly cheeked, Facebook Friend Katrina Swaim posts today re: her close encounter with an ice cream truck:

"Am I the only one who finds the sound of the ice cream truck a little bit sinister? Imagine it echoing through the empty streets of our small town at three in the morning, calling out to ... whom? Who might be drawn to the sickly yellow glow of that open window, and what loathsome treat lies waiting within? Maybe I'm just bitter because Rocket Pops cost $4 now."

Question: When did you last buy a treat from an ice cream truck?
