Panera Bread may open Sept 14

A Sept. 14 opening is tentatively planned for Panera Bread in the new building on the southwest pad where Burger King was at Prairie Shopping Center (at Highway 95). With inside tables and catering, Panera offers freshly baked breads, pastries, bagels, spreads, breakfasts, soups, salads, broth bowls, pastas, mac-n-cheese, paninis, sandwiches, flatbreads, kids’ meals and many beverages (no alcohol). The company began in 1981 in St. Louis and has about 2,000 outlets in 46 states and Canada. Open 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays, the Hayden cafe is hiring for about 70 positions. Check www.panerabread.com.
