Conservative author and filmmaker Dinesh D'Souza, whose talk on Gonzaga's campus is controversially closed to the public, has booked another gig in Spokane. Touting its support of free speech, the Spokane County Republican Party announced that D'Souza will be the keynote speaker at their Lincoln Day Dinner & Fundraiser on April 30 at the Davenport Grand Hotel. Tickets start at $75. “It’s unfortunate that the university is keeping the public from hearing D’Souza’s message,” says Spokane County GOP Chairman Dave Moore. “As a private institution, they have a right to do that, but our concern is that it doesn’t appear to be a stance consistent with the policy for other speakers they’ve hosted”/Inlander.
