Wild Card/Monday — 7.25.16

My fence busting days are over, at least until next spring when I tackle the remaining side with a third neighbor. Lotsa hard work Saturday and Sunday. But the end result is wonderful. My back fence was standing before I moved into my just-built house in December 1985. Parts of it blew down over the years. But it served its purpose. I enjoyed tearing it down as much as I enjoyed putting the new one back up. Big hat trip to the guys who helped me build this weekend: Steve, Shawn, Greg & nephew Joe. Next weekend, Mrs. O is cracking the whip to finish about 4 yards of rock work. I'm starting to feel like the horse at the end of "Animal Farm." Actually, I enjoy seeing a good plan come together. Are you working on any outdoors projects this summer? You can answer that question or start your own thread with this Wild Card ...
