MacLennan picked as new NIC prez
The North Idaho College Board of Trustees announced today the selection of Richard MacLennan, Ed.D. as the new president of NIC. MacLennan is currently the president of Garrett College in Maryland, a position he has held since 2010. Under MacLennan's leadership, Garrett College has grown as a forward-thinking, innovative institution that is actively engaged with its community and widely perceived as fulfilling its economic and workforce development mission for the region, according to MacLennan’s resume. Prior to Garrett College, MacLennan served as the vice president of student services for 12 years at Olympic College, located on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington/Tom Greene, NIC Press Room.
