Wild Card/Monday -- 11.21.16 

And there it was. On my 67th birthday, at a restaurant in downtown Coeur d'Alene, a waitress with coffee-brown, black eyes and long lashes asked the question every Seasoned Citizen dreads: "How YOUNG are you." I've never been asked that question before. I responded, "Do I really look that old?" She didn't answer.

Viydo: Hutto appears in court 

Taylor Viydo/KREM 2 tweets this afternoon that David Hutto, 44, of Hayden, remained silent when asked how he pleaded to charges involved in the murder of "Bo" Kirk, 41, of Coeur d'Alene. So the judge hearing the case entered "not guilty" pleas for him, as required by law.

America is far more divided on key issues than usual, a new Gallup Poll released Monday finds. President-elect Donald Trump “prepares to take office as a record number of Americans perceive the nation as divided and less than half believe his actions will help unite the country,” according to a Gallup analysis. Malloy: Craig votes for Supreme Court 

In his Idaho Politics Weekly column, Chuck Malloy comments that former U.S. senator Larry Craig voted for the Supreme Court rather than Republican Donald Trump, although the net result was the same. Translation: Craig wasn't thrilled with Trump. But he understood that a Trump election meant conservative Supreme Court justices.
