"It has the bones to be better than Hastings" -- Amy Dearest re: Entertain Mart in the old Hastings Building Saturday.

During the Thanksgiving holiday, Amy Dearest and Okie Doke checked out the new Entertain Mart on Appleway. The business, which replaced and resembles the popular Hastings store, appears to be going through a soft launch while workers stock shelves with books, comic books, toys and game favorites. Entertain Mart is offering smaller book and magazine sections. The technology section is gone. Movie DVDs are $3.99 apiece with no $2 discount for bringing them back within a day. But there seems to be expanded sections for comic books, graphic novels, toys and gamer section. When all the stock is in, Amy Dearest believes that Entertain Mart will be geared toward pop culture. We'll have to wait and see. Hastings was one of my favorite stores. I'll check back in a week or so.
