Viydo: Cedars nearly floats away

Taylor Viydo/KREM 2 reports on flood danger to the floating Cedar's restaurant at Blackwell Island:

  • 1:09 p.m. Not the first time this has happened… In '96, Cedars needed a tugboat to prevent it from drifting away. Flooding today close, but not as bad.
  • 1:07 p.m. In a matter of 4 hours on Saturday, staff removed perishable food and closed up shop. A wedding reception had to be relocated, too.
  • 1:06 p.m. Want to eat at Cedars floating restaurant? Not even a canoe will help you. Restaurant closed until further notice. No damage, fortunately.
