Can't wait for the inevitable calls to the City Desk tomorrow, from readers insisting that the S-R ignored Pearl Harbor Day.

Readers don't always grasp that stories and photos relating to anniversaries often appear the day after the date in question -- to include coverage of various observances, et cetera.

So here's what I expect to overhear.

Someone answering the phone at the City Desk tomorrow will say, "Well, we did produce an entire Pearl Harbor special section which appeared in Sunday's newspaper."

I suspect that will be greeted with silence and then, "Yeah, well, that was Sunday ... I'm talking about today!"
