Election Results

Candidate Votes Pct
Steve Gonzalez 594,360 59.40%
Bruce Danielson 406,224 40.60%

* Race percentages are calculated with data from the Secretary of State's Office, which omits write-in votes from its calculations when there are too few to affect the outcome. The Spokane County Auditor's Office may have slightly different percentages than are reflected here because its figures include any write-in votes.

About The Race

As per Washington election law, a judicial candidate who receives more than half of the votes in a primary wins the seat and does not have to run in the November general election. Therefore, the winner of this race will win the seat because there are only two candidates.
